History
In the late 1950’s, Sam Taustin and his brother Irving started a little restaurant on 9th Street and the Boardwalk called The Embers. They moved to 23rd Street and Coastal Hwy just a few years later and carved their niche as one of the most respected restaurants in Ocean City. Over 50 years later, that same restaurant, still family owned and operated by the next two generations, continues to serve the finest steaks and seafood both from their now famous Prime Rib and Seafood buffet. Sam’s goal for the restaurant was to serve the best food and give the most attentive service to every customer who walked in the door, and that continues to be the mission of the family today.
