The Embers has been in business for nearly 50 years. Since the beginning, our goal has been to serve the best food and give the most attentive service to every customer who walks in the door. With that in mind, we search for individuals in all aspects of food service, who can provide the same level of service to our customers that our reputation has been built on and that our customers expect.

Applicants that are being considered for employment will:
- Receive a pre-screening phone interview to further clarify experience, availability and review our expectations and requirements for employment. Note it’s important that you provide adequate contact information so we can contact you about job opportunities.
- We ask that applicants provide at least two phone numbers and an e-mail address, if possible.
- A face-to-face interview will be scheduled so we can further discuss the opportunities, our expectations, answer your questions, etc.
- For those applicants that are hired, we ask that they stay in touch with us monthly prior to the start date so we can update you on schedules, activities in the area, uniform guidelines, etc.
The Embers has some limited housing opportunities and connections with realtors in the area that can assist in making your temporary move to Ocean City more convenient.
Expectations and Positions
The Embers is a high volume and fast paced restaurant. We expect that all positions maintain a high energy level with a positive and friendly image during even our busiest times. All positions require specific dress and uniform requirements. Details will be communicated during the interview process. Due to our constant communication both internally and externally, we require that all employees be able to communicate using the English language.
June restaurant hours: Dinner: 3pm-10pm. July & August restaurant hours: Breakfast 9am – 1pm and Dinner 2pm – 10pm. All other months: Dinner 4pm – 10pm. Full time and part time positions available for most positions.
